Would a mystery snail be good to put in a tank with a ten inch plecostomus (possibly over 10 in)?

I believe it's a 20 gallon tank. There is a small clay flowerpot in the tank, so the snail oculd climb on, but will the pleco hurt the snail?|||The pleco will suck the snail from its shell. I know it sounds strange, but I've lost three snails that way before I finally decided what the woman at the pet shop told me was true. Unless you want pretty decorative shells with no snail, I suggest you don't mix the two.|||they would be good tankmates. i have several snails with my bettas.
