My brother and I found a sea snail at the beach and we don't want to kill it... I tried searching how to, but I couldn't find anything. Help?|||Hermit crabs find their homes on the ocean floor and can find new condos,simply from going to the new neighborhood by leaving the old abode and finding a new. However ,some are attached to the homes they are born to carry along and the homes usually grow along with them...if it is a snail...don't snatch him from his home as he will surely die! Pup|||You can't. Snails aren't like hermit crabs, their shell is like a turtle's shell and is attatched to the snail's body.
Also, if you found it at the beach, put it back. That's where it lives and I think it wants to keep living there. :)|||So you're trying to harvest the shell? If you take it out, i'm pretty certain it will die. It's not a hermit crab that can change its shell as it outgrows it.|||100% IMPOSSIBLE.
It WILL die w/out the shell!
