I collected a handful of empty snail shells the other day and I want to make jewelry out of them. I was told to boil them to kill bacteria, which I did, but they are still pretty dirty on the inside.
They are very tiny, fragile snail shells... I would probably need a needle to pick out excess dirt and tissue. Is there an easy way to loosen the dirt? Any advice?
