How can i tell if my mystery snail is a male or female ?

I want to know how to tell if my snail is boy or girl i want to have baby snails.|||Unlike many other kinds of snails, mystery or apple snails do have genders and you need a male and a female to have baby snails. The link posted by Matt will show you how to tell the gender of your snail.





Keep in mind that mystery snails lay their eggs above water so make sure you keep your water level low enough that your female snail, when the time comes, is able to get out of the water high enough to deposit her clutch of eggs. Usually they lay them on the inside of the hood or on the glass above the water line.|||Snails don't have a sex. Some are asexual (have babies magically with themselves) and some need another snail. All you need is to get another one, they just have sex with everything. The tiny snails you find in your plants and freak about are the same as an apple (mystery) snail.
