I bought an apple snail which was covered with green algae and kept it in my aquarium.How to clean the algae and retain the snail's original yellow color?|||With a toothbrush, very gently. Wipe it down with a plain nylon pot scrubbie. (NO detergent)
Put snail back in tank
I dont know if it will be the original colour, but at least it wont be green :-)
