One mystery gold snail just died, how should I clean the tank to keep the other creatures from dying?

It's a 5 gallon and there's a betta fish, 2 african dwarf frogs and one snail. The snail that died was dead for a couple of hours.|||This is going to sound odd, but unless you had something really, really nasty, like the untreatable flesh-eating fin rot that kills fish within 2 days then there's not much to do. Anything that made them sick (aside from maybe that really awful flesh-eating stuff) is in the water all the time: parasites, bacteria, etc.-anything that could make them sick is always in there even when your water params are great and you've just done water changes. However, it's only when the fish is stressed, old or otherwise susceptible that these constant companions will successfully get your fish sick. So, take out the snail and treat the tank with the other inhabitants if they're showing signs of illness, and if not, do a normal water change, clean 1/4 of the gravel (based on tank size) and enjoy your frogs.|||well you could go the easy way and just take the dead snail out and dispose of it, which i did. but you could also "evacuate" your other living creatures and put them in a bowl or something so you can clean your tank, like how you normally do. but definitely DO NOT leave the dead snail in there, that creates more bacteria, increasing your chances of your creatures becoming sick. hope this helped, and good luck(:|||Remove dead snail and do a large part water change and gravel vac. Cleaning any more than that is likely to cause more problems.
