What do you feed a pet snail that has nothing to feed on?

OKay, so we have a water snail that used to just clean the tank. but since the fish couldn't just live in a little soda bottle we moved it to a filtered tank and now the snail has nothing to feed on. What do we do?|||Buy some algae pellets and sprinkle a little fish food in the tank. The algae and the fish food will provide various things for the snail to eat. or move the snail to the tank the fish is now in.|||Get some aquarium plants. If you happen to know what KIND of snail it is, you can look online and see which plants would be the best. Your local pet store can actually help you find perfect freshwater plants for the tank.

Other than that, the snails will just eat the algae that grows in the tank.|||Get Algae Wafers....or if you dont want to spend the money, move the tank to a warmer place or where it gets more sun so the algae will grow on the tank. I wouldnt spend the money to buy live plants because some fish dig up plants.|||fish food and algae
