What fish will eat snail eggs in fresh water aquariums, with out eating the snails?

trying to control a rampant snail population in a fresh water aquarium, as they're eating all the live plants, any suggestions as to what will eat their eggs or protect the plants would be appreciated.|||try had-a-snail. you dont want any snails in there if you have a planted tank.|||Really, besides scooping out the eggs/ baby snails, you can not control their population. Just scoop them out with a net and put them all in a bucket, and add clove oil to the bucket. They feel no pain, and it kills them, kind of like carbon monoxide poison in humans.

What you can try to help in your efforts, is JUVENILE loaches. 90% or so of loaches I know of eat snails. Find a loach species you like, and then make sure it eats snails. This will never completely cure your snail population, but it will help alongside your efforts. Buy juvenile loaches, because adult loaches will will eat your adult snails, while juveniles will be so small they can only eat the baby snails.

I would recommend loaches only if you do not have aggressive fish in your tank. If you do your only solution is to dispose of them yourself.

Good luck on getting rid of your snails!|||Clown loaches.|||Bettas will eat snails. I have three bettas right now, and none of mine eat the bigger snails, but they do eat the small ones.
