How to send flowers through snail mail?

I want to mail someone (who lives in a different country) a flower. It is not a flower from a florist or anything like that, but just a small, pretty flower I picked from my garden. I know it will probably wither by the time it gets there (around 7 to 11 days by snail mail), but can anyone give any suggestions about how best to preserve it? Should I press it in a card or a piece of paper? Something inexpensive and easy would be preferable. Thanks in advance.|||Just put it in a card
