How do I get my dead apple snail out of its shell so I can keep the shell?

Sadly my apple snail, Sparrow, died and I am wanting to keep her shell. I've gotten most of it out but there's still some in the back of the shell and I can't get it out. How can I get it out without breaking the shell?|||Put some salt in the shell and let it sit over night and it should come out.|||Let it decay outside and wash it|||Boil it
