What does it mean when there are little white bumps on your snail?

I just got a snail and there is little white bumps on it. I was wondering if it is an infection and if it is, and it contagious to other snails? I have a land snail and I currently have 2 adult snails and about 13 babies...|||It's a fungus|||The little white bumps could be more babies that are just crawling on their parents like a jungle-gym. Are the bumps moving at all? What does their texture look like? How big are they?
